By creating an account or using ApplyGrid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
If you are using ApplyGrid on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent that:

- you are legally permitted to use the Service;

3. Your Account
You are responsible for:

- all activity occurring under your account.
You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account.
4. Description of the Service

- interview tracking

- search preferences
- Gmail integration
- analytics

Features may change over time.
5. Artificial Intelligence
Some ApplyGrid features use artificial intelligence to generate recommendations.
Examples include:
- resume improvements
- keyword suggestions
- job matching
- search recommendations
- opportunity prioritization
- writing assistance
AI-generated content is provided solely as a recommendation.
You remain solely responsible for:
- your resume
- job applications
- communications
- employment decisions
- information submitted to employers
ApplyGrid makes no guarantee that AI recommendations are accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation.
6. Gmail Integration
You may choose to connect your Google account.
If authorized by you, ApplyGrid may access Gmail solely to support job-search-related functionality.
This may include identifying:
- application confirmations
- recruiter emails
- interview invitations
- offers
- rejections
- follow-up requests
- other employment-related correspondence
Gmail access is optional.
You may disconnect Google at any time.
Disconnecting Google prevents future synchronization but does not automatically delete previously imported information.
ApplyGrid only accesses the Gmail permissions that you explicitly authorize.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload.
This includes:
- resumes
- cover letters
- career history
- notes
- applications
- search preferences
- interview records
- uploaded files
You grant ApplyGrid a limited license to store, process, analyze, display, and transmit your content solely for operating and improving the Service.
We do not claim ownership of your content.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate any law;
- infringe another person's rights;
- upload malicious software;
- attempt unauthorized access;
- interfere with the Service;
- scrape or harvest data without permission;
- reverse engineer the Service except where prohibited by law;
- use bots to abuse the platform;
- impersonate another person;
- submit false employment information intended to deceive employers;
- use ApplyGrid for spam or fraudulent recruiting.
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive or unlawful behavior.
9. Intellectual Property
ApplyGrid, including its software, branding, logos, interface, documentation, graphics, workflows, algorithms, and design, is owned by ApplyGrid and protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
10. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, feature requests, or ideas, you grant ApplyGrid a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback without compensation.
11. Availability
We strive to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may occasionally experience:
- maintenance
- downtime
- software bugs
- outages
- delays
- third-party service interruptions
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
12. Third-Party Services
ApplyGrid integrates with third-party providers.
These may include:
- Gmail
- authentication providers
- hosting providers
- analytics services
- AI providers
- cloud infrastructure providers
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
ApplyGrid is not responsible for third-party products or services.
13. Privacy
Your use of ApplyGrid is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
14. No Employment Guarantee
ApplyGrid provides tools to assist your job search.
We do not guarantee:
- interviews;
- recruiter responses;
- employment;
- salary increases;
- job offers;
- career advancement.
Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.
15. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- verifying the accuracy of resumes;
- reviewing AI-generated content;
- ensuring submitted applications are accurate;
- complying with employer requirements.
You should never rely solely on AI-generated recommendations.
16. Paid Services
Some features may require payment in the future.
If paid subscriptions are introduced:
- pricing will be displayed before purchase;
- subscription terms will be disclosed;
- billing policies will be presented before payment.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
17. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- violate these Terms;
- abuse the Service;
- threaten security;
- engage in fraudulent activity;
- interfere with other users.
You may delete your account at any time through the application settings.
18. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPLYGRID DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT;
- ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUT;
- AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPLYGRID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
THIS INCLUDES:
- LOST PROFITS
- LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
- LOSS OF DATA
- LOSS OF BUSINESS
- RECRUITER DECISIONS
- HIRING DECISIONS
- CAREER OUTCOMES
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), OR
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO APPLYGRID DURING THE PREVIOUS TWELVE MONTHS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. Those limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ApplyGrid, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the Service;
- your uploaded content;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of applicable law;
- your infringement of another person's rights.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
22. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact ApplyGrid and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hawaii, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
23. Changes to the Service
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of ApplyGrid at any time.
We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by updating the "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of ApplyGrid after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and ApplyGrid regarding the Service.
